Feras was born in Damascus, Syria but has lived most of his life in the United States and now lives in Silicon Valley, California, U.S.A. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma and then acquired a Master’s degree in management from the University of South Florida.

Feras became a partner in a WSI Internet Consultant franchise in early 2003. Prior to that, he was the vice president of professional services for a VoIP start-up in Silicon Valley. He has worked in high-tech industries and has held executive management positions. He has managed large scale projects from conception to deployment, in addition to being involved in training and customer support for clients like Comcast, AT&T and Bell Canada.

Feras is an active participant in all WSI initiatives. He is part of a Business Innovations Group, a member of the Advisory Counciland an Ambassador Training Coach. He is also the leader of the WSI Consultants’ Group in the San Francisco Bay area. Feras’ WSI franchise business has grown into a company with 9 specialized and talented team members. With close to a 100 clients, Feras’ team specializes in complex database-driven sites, e-commerce, high-end graphic design, Internet marketing (including Web analytics) and training. Together, they offer clients complete solutions including marketing consulting, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-Per-Click advertising, banner ads, email marketing and business coaching. Feras believes in ongoing education and self-development. He is an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), a qualified Google advertising professional and a Yahoo Ambassador.

Participants at Feras’ workshops benefit hugely from being able to understand the intricacies of website visitor behaviour, navigation patterns and online shopping trends. Through case studies and practical examples, he demonstrates how businesses can study visitor profiles in order to make their sites optimally geared for greater customer conversion. Feras conducts workshops internationally, from various cities in the US to Europe and the Middle East.
