After having spent a career in the management of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies, Tim Pellens now manages his WSI office in Naarden, the Netherlands. Interestingly, Tim also has a background in marketing and sales with career experience in the IT reseller environment. His WSI business today boasts of a strong client base including some international wholesale companies, financial services and a major multi-franchise fashion group in the Netherlands.

His wife and partner in the WSI business, Myra, had experienced considerable success with a food franchise in the past, which she sold when they were expecting their third daughter. They were familiar with a franchise business and were keen to identify one that would give them the opportunity to work together.

“In the past we visited the United States frequently, so we were actually looking for a North American food franchise to bring this concept to the Dutch market,” Tim said. “Then we stumbled upon a WSI franchise advertisement.”

Tim further explains, “We both wanted to be in the dynamic Internet industry but since we do not have any programming skills, we did not know how to start. We realized we did not have to be programmers with WSI, and now this WSI business has allowed us to leverage our background experience in sales and marketing in a world-class consulting environment. Exploring the SME market here in the Netherlands and discovering the potential of the technology we now have access to, we are able to envision long-term business solutions for our clients as opposed to selling them websites.”
